I am a freelance art director, marketing director, graphic designer and photographer. I started off as an art director for magazines. Being on a strict budget and needing more creativity in the photos I was using I quickly learned I could take my own cover photos and inside art work. This developed into a passion and today I travel on photo shoots. Taking the next step in my career I became a Marketing Director which I had developed a strong desire for. In this capacity I am the ad designer, photographer, media buyer, web-designer, researcher, stats provider, writer and anything else I can get into. I am very versatile.

I am passionate and quick at what I do. I take on a lot of responsibility and don’t mind taking the bull by the horns so to speak. I once started a magazine, got one issue under my belt only to have the editor quit prior to the largest issue of the year. Being the person responsible for selecting the most important moments of an entire industry was just the type of challenge I love to take on, in my job description or not, I will do whatever it takes to get the job done right.

As a marketing director I took a web site that was getting 3,000 unique visitors a month to 24,000 unique visitors a month in less than two years. I have increased leads by over 400%. I took a 20 page catalog that got less than $4,000 in ad revenue and turned it into a 116 page catalog with over $35,000 in ad revenue which pays for the printing costs. I also solicit the advertising for the catalog.

I work in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I’m not a person who has to be told what to do, I find out what needs to be done and do it. I am very much a self motivator.

I have an hourly rate or projects can be based off of a flat fee.
